Starting from Southend, this very well illustrated book takes a circular, clockwise tour of seaside towns and the open-top buses that showed off the local scenery and sites of interest.  With nearly 200 photographs, it covers the heyday from the 60s to the 90s with an appendix bringing us up to date in the 2020s.
