Brighton Palace Pier – End of the Pier Show 2026
The 2026 season of Brighton’s End of the Pier Show; still a relatively new enterprise but roundly acclaimed by critics. Two 50 minute shows each day, 1PM and 3PM, from Monday to Friday, from the Monday 10th August until Friday 28th August.
Brighton at Work – A Talk and Book Launch by Kevin Newman
Date amended to Tuesday 25th August 2026, 13:30. Prolific Brighton historian Kevin Newman will be launching his new book on “Brighton at Work” at the Brunswick Pub, Hove, during August. Of work in brighton, it would historically seem to be diverse, ranging from fishing to manufacturing, as well as the hospitality work one can expect to predominate today.
A secondary launch event will take place at Leonardslee Gardens on the 20th September at 11:00.

The History of Deal’s Piers
Wednesday 16th September 2026, 10:30. NPS members Martin Easdown and Martyn Webster will be delivering an illustrated talk on the history of the three piers at Deal, the event being hosted by Heritage Open Days during their annual September festival
