Membership of the National Piers Society enables you to make a direct contribution to the preservation and continued enjoyment of seaside piers.

Membership entitles you to:

  •  Receive our quarterly magazine PIERS
  •  Attend and vote at members meetings of the Society including the Annual General Meeting
  •  Participate at local pier events
  •  Vote each year for the Pier of the Year
New members are always welcome. Membership runs from the 1st January to 31st December. Please note that, subject to availability, new members joining us before 30th September will receive back issues of our quarterly journal, PIERS, from the start of the joining year. Memberships commencing after 1st October will receive only the current issue but the membership continues until the end of the following year.

Joining for the first time or renewing your membership can be either via our online payment system or by downloading a membership form, completing and returning it along with your payment. Membership can also be an excellent gift for a friend or loved one and we are happy to accept applications on behalf of another person. The new member will receive a welcome letter which includes the name and details of the person who purchased the membership.

For international members only, there is an option of receiving a PDF of PIERS rather than a printed copy in the post. If you wish to take up this option please choose the 'International Online' option below, and ensure we have the email address to which the PDF of PIERS should be sent.
