Our friends at the Seaside Heritage Network are having a Big Day Out by the sea at Weston-super-Mare. There’s a host of seaside treats including a walking tour of Weston’s seafront led by Allan Brodie, an update on the restoration of Birnbeck Pier, a chat with Paul Doe author of the book ‘From a bag of chips to cod confit: A tour of twenty English seaside resorts’, a Punch and Judy show, and the announcement of the annual top ten Bucket and Spade List winners! Plus a chance to explore the Art Deco delights of Weston’s Plaza Cinema and hear its Compton organ in action!
