Brought up on the Isle of Wight and now living in Northern Scotland, Sarah Kerr has undertaken significant travel over a number of years in her attempt to visit every British lighthouse. Her journey and research inspired the development of The British Lighthouse Trail, the book she wishes she’d had at the start of her endeavour. In this talk, she will discuss her trail and the stages she went through in creating it.
Sarah Kerr is a Trustee and Events Coordinator for the Association of Lighthouse Keepers. Since 2012, Sarah has documented her lighthouse travels through a blog, met her husband on a visit to Cape Wrath lighthouse and subsequently introduced their young children to the joy of lighthouses.
