Organised by the Friends of Bangor Garth Pier with support from Bangor City Council to celebrate the pier’s 127th anniversary and Year of the Pier, a fun event for all the family.

Music will start at 1 pm on the stage by the pier entrance with performances throughout the afternoon and evening including: the Menai Bridge Brass Band and the Conwy Quayside Ukelele Band; Sefydliad Confucius (traditional Chinese music); local choirs Showzone, Encôr and Côr Law yn Llaw; local singers Paul Downham, Eve Goodman and Ian Roberts plus Wynne Roberts our very own Welsh Elvis. Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd will be broadcasting live throughout the afternoon from the pier. There will be numerous food stalls and craft stalls both on the pier and by the pier entrance. Children’s entertainment including games and face painting. North Wales Fire Service will be giving an abseiling rescue demonstration. The entertainment will end at 9pm with fireworks.

Entrance payable on the day will be £2 for adults and £1 for children aged 4-16 and will include entrance to the pier.
